Will interrogate other radio telemetry devices and output the data via a serial port to, for example, printers, large remote displays, terminals, PCs and PLCs
The TDU telemetry display driver, available from Celsum Technologies, is an addition to its radio telemetry instrument range.
Available with an optional on-case display, the TDU will interrogate other radio telemetry devices and output the data via a serial port to, for example, printers, large remote displays, terminals, PCs and PLCs.
The data may be formatted, and flexible programming capability allows headers, footers, prefixes and suffixes.
The use of macros and tokens permits multi-line data blocks to be sent to the output devices.
The TDU has the ability to sum up to six values, with control over gross and tare, enabling, for example, the summing of data from up to six remote TSC, TLC1, or TIO radio telemetry data sources.
The TDU is available with an optional real-time clock module to allow data to be time- and date-stamped.
Optional eight-way digital input and output cards allow the TDU to interact with other instrumentation and equipment.
Licence-free two-way digital radio offers excellent opportunities to collect error-free measurement data from remote devices such as strain-gauge based load cells, temperature sensors, etc, over a range of up to 300 metres, allowing large sites to be covered with ease, and is said to be ideal for condition monitoring and real-time measurements for plant and R and D applications alike.
