DataApex has released a new HPLC control module option for Clarity chromatography stations that can provide software control of the world's most popular HPLC system, the Agilent 1100.
The user can access and modify HPLC parameters directly from the Clarity chromatography station environment.
Instrument settings, data acquisition and data processing parameters are stored in a single template method file.
After data have been acquired, the applied method settings will be stored together with the acquired data in one data file.
The control drivers are available for the Agilent 1100 autosamplers, pumps (binary, quaternary, and isocratic), thermostatted column compartment and detectors (FLD, DAD and UV-vis).
The HPLC control module can be installed simultaneously with other optional add-on software modules for Clarity chromatography station.
The control module, together with the PDA add-on module, makes Clarity to be the all-in-one solution for instrument control, data acquisition and evaluation of chromatograms and spectra from the Agilent 1100 system, says DataApex.
The Clarity chromatography station is designed to acquire and evaluate data from up to four chromatographs at a time.
Clarity includes built-in tools for 21 CFR Part 11: electronic signatures, audit trails and user accounts.
Add-on modules such as control modules, SST, GPC, PDA and validation kit are also available.
The software is said to be highly regarded for its ease of use, excellent performance, and cost-effectiveness.
The Clarity chromatography station is designed to run under any current version of MS Windows.
