Permanently fixed insert inside a normal 2ml, 12x32mm vial is fused both top and bottom for robustness and eliminates possible evaporation from the insert into the vial space
Traditional vial inserts are expensive and can be difficult to use, sometimes causing sample loss and alignment problems, says SMI-Labhut.
X-Vials feature a permanently fixed insert inside a normal 2ml, 12x32mm vial.
This is fused both top and bottom for robustness and eliminates possible evaporation from the insert into the vial space.
As the insert is fixed, correct vertical alignment is also guaranteed - eliminating possible needle breakage.
Available in crimp, snap cap, and screw cap configurations, X-Vials cost less that the price of vial and insert alone and therefore have an economic as well as technical advantage.
The 350ul insert can be used for samples as low as 10ul.
As it is welded into the top of the vial, the available opening for sample introduction is very high making it much easier to use than traditional inserts.
