Oxoid has appointed Phil Smith to lead its pharmaceutical marketing strategies, and oversee and develop its growing business in the pmarket sector.
With 15 years experience in the pharmaceutical and regulated industries, working largely on sterility issues and aseptic applications, Smith is highly qualified to help Oxoid develop its global relationship with the pharmaceutical industry.
He joins the company from Steris, where he was involved in developing its disinfection and critical cleaning portfolio for the pharmaceutical industry in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Among his responsibilities at Oxoid will be working to ensure that the company's products meet the changing needs of the pharmaceutical industry and the constraints imposed by regulatory restrictions.
