Harvard Apparatus has introduced Tech 4 vaporisers for use in an MRI facility.
These devices are unaffected by pressure, temperature and flow rate, making them accurate and reliable, says Harvard.
Agent specific vaporisers for isoflurane, halothane or sevoflurane are available.
These units are adjustable from 0.5% to 5%, in half and full per cent increments and the sump capacity of the vaporiser is 135ml (35ml is absorbed by the wick).
They are compatible with mobile or table top anaesthesia machines and are available in two types, key-fill or funnel fill.
Tech 4 vaporisers are compatible with anaesthesia systems from every manufacturer and are compatible in any MRI imaging facility, says Harvard.
