Vindon Scientific has been celebrating its flotation on the Alternative Investment Market, a move that heralds a major expansion programme for the company
Vindon Scientific's portfolio of environmental control products includes storage rooms, blood banks, refrigerators and ovens, as well as plant growth chambers for controlling temperature, light and humidity.
Liam Ferguson, chairman of Vindon Healthcare, the new holding company, comments: "Vindon has built up an enviable portfolio of blue-chip clients including Glaxo SmithKline, AstraZeneca and Pfizer.
"The new management structure provides a firm base for future expansion and enables us to strengthen our maintenance contracts service, as well as increasing the scope of our off-site storage facilities".
Vindon says it is now well placed to further improve its services to the pharmaceutical, life sciences and food sectors, by making a significant input to their research and development programmes.
