Scanning stages for confocal microscopy now fit inverted research microscopes from all of the major microscope manufacturers and are compatible with all popular micromanipulators
Prior Scientific has announced a series of new scanning stages for confocal microscopy.
The ProScan H117 series now fits inverted research microscopes from all of the major microscope manufacturers.
The unique design of the H117 series is the result of extensive consultation with research scientists and incorporates their most desired features.
The totally flat top surface ensures that the stage is compatible with all popular micromanipulators and incubation chambers making it particularly convenient for live cell research.
This coupled with unsurpassed performance makes it the right choice for advanced imaging applications such as confocal microscopy and deconvolution, says Prior.
The stage is also equipped with Priors's Intelligent Communications facility.
This means all of the unique data which define the performance characteristics of the stage and ensure a perfect fit with the motor controller are stored with the stage itself.
Whenever this stage is driven with any H30 ProScan controller the parameters are automatically interrogated and utilised to provide what is described as the highest stage performance commercially available.
