Database offers seamless two-way interface to existing laboratory information management systems and claims significant security benefits to regulated laboratories
Justice Laboratory Software has introduced a new option for its Chrom Perfect Spirit chromatography data system (CDS).
With the Chrom Perfect Spirit Database, customers have the option to collect and store chromatographic data in a flat file format, as an object within a relational database, or both.
It also includes powerful data archiving features for long-term records storage.
It is fully integrated with the Chrom Perfect Spirit chromatography data system to offer customers a single efficient tool for handling multiple chromatographic data needs.
The software contains a suite of features that allow customers to comply with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, meeting the FDA requirements that pharmaceutical laboratories store data and associated information for ten or more years.
This new system allows the use of the Chrom Perfect Data system to existing corporate Lims system without requiring any infrastructure changes The Chrom Perfect Database offers a host of benefits for pharmaceutical and other regulated laboratory customers, such as: a relational database for chromatographic record storage, easy retrieval through multi-criteria queries, archiving functions, and integration with either an Access Oracle or a Microsoft SQL Server for use in any IT environment.
"This Chrom Perfect Spirit Database system not only surpasses what other companies are offering, but by combining storage and archiving capabilities in one package, the system can handle the tasks previously associated with two separate and more expensive pieces of software," claims Dennis O'Hare, sales director.
"Chrom Perfect new system offers cost-savings benefits as it improves laboratory efficiencies".
According to US Federal regulations, pharmaceutical laboratories must maintain a system for archiving and retrieving past data.
"Developed based on customer input, the introduction of the Chrom Perfect Data Base is expected to greatly expand Justice Laboratory Software's presence in this highly regulated market," said George Schreiner, vice president and technical director, Justice Laboratory Software.
