The east coast has proved to be a vibrant area in terms of business development and over the last year Chiltern has been rapidly expanding in the area
Chiltern International announces that Laurel Avery is to take on a new role as manager, US east coast business development.
The east coast has proved to be a vibrant area in terms of business development and over the last year Chiltern has been rapidly expanding in the area.
Avery has played a major part in the growth of the company in the east coast by developing relationships with new clients and strengthening existing relationships.
The promotion will see her take on additional management responsibilities in developing the regional team, training them and helping them achieve their goals.
Avery's previous experience in the conference industry, where she focused on the pharmaceutical sector, gives her valuable insight into the challenges faced by the industry when products enter clinical trials and the impact of changes in the general research environment, says the company.
In her previous role, she also gained considerable expertise in pharmaceutical industry research, in marketing, speaker recruitment, project management and sales.
"The new role will provide a welcome challenge," commented Avery.
"It is going to be an exciting process in developing the East Coast business from at a higher level.
"At Chiltern we are all working as a team to learn from one another and achieve our goals."
