These holders not only can withstand the g-forces involved but typically have a drying time one quarter that of a traditional rack
Genevac has added to its range of sample holders, which enable simple and productive integration of its centrifugal evaporators with a wide array of HPLC fraction collector racks, synthesis reaction blocks and parallel chemistry glassware.
For users of large format HPLC fraction collector racks (Waters, Gilson etc), Genevac has a range of lookalike holders which integrate with other systems and are suitable for evaporator use.
These holders not only can withstand the g-forces involved but typically have a drying time one quarter that of a traditional rack.
In busy labs faced with processing large numbers of HPLC fractions, Genevac says its sample racks also eliminate the need for manual handling of tubes between fraction collector and Genevac evaporator, significantly improving productivity and reducing the risk of mis-identification and cross contamination.
For laboratories involved with parallel synthesis, Genevac has introduced specialised holders enabling direct transfer of compounds into centrifugal evaporators from Mettler Toledo and Radleys Discovery Technology parallel synthesis systems, without removing sample vessels from the reaction block.
Each sample holder may be colour coded and laser-engraved with a unique set of identification numbers, so that holder can be readily identified both on the parallel synthesiser and post-evaporation.
A complete list of compatible laboratory equipment is detailed on the Genevac website.
