System will be deployed by pharmaceutical, biotech and clinical research organisations for the day-to-day tracking and reporting of regulatory and clinical information
ClinPhone announces the launch of its new globally scalable web-based clinical trial management system (CTMS).
Developed in response to customer and market demand, TrialWorks Web 2005 will be deployed by pharmaceutical, biotech and clinical research organisations for the day-to-day tracking and reporting of regulatory and clinical information.
TrialWorks Web 2005 will be offered alongside the established client-server version, TrialWorks by ClinPhone v4.5, enabling ClinPhone to offer its customers a full spectrum of clinical trial management solutions.
TrialWorks Web 2005 offers all of the tried and tested functions of ClinPhone's existing CTMS, including thorough site/investigator management functionality, a powerful investigator payments component and hundreds of standard reports.
The web-based system also claims a number of additional features, including exceptional Microsoft Office compatibility and a robust and intuitive ad hoc reporting tool for creating a variety of user-configured reports.
Other significant features in the new web-based CTMS database include integration with a wide range of commercial interactive voice response (IVR), electronic data capture (EDC) and data management systems.
The software's user interface incorporates state-of-the-art navigation tools which allow users to instantaneously sort and access information based on study parameters such as phase, indication, country, product, study, and more.
This expands upon the existing TrialWorks user interface, which the company says is already known for its exceptional user-friendliness.
With an underlying framework of Asp.Net, TrialWorks Web 2005 also offers excellent performance and scalability, superior reliability and extremely fast access via Ado.Net.
It is also easy to deploy due to such features as dynamic compilation and updates, rich output caching, and no-touch deployment, says Clinphone.
This combination of a fully functional user-friendly interface and robust technological elements means that initial implementation can take place in as little as two days, and new users can become instantly productive.
"ClinPhone is excited to launch TrialWorks Web 2005, comments Daljit Cheema, chief technology officer, ClinPhone.
"This web-based CTMS is a truly scaleable global solution, which enables us to offer pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies the ability to remotely access their central data from all of their worldwide locations."
