Starlims and CTC Laboratory Systems (CTCLS) have signed an agreement for distribution and support of Starlims software in Japan.
CTCLS's selection of Starlims follows a lengthy evaluation process of commercial Lims systems in the marketplace.

"The Starlims software platform will enable us to meet the growing demand for migrating legacy Lims systems to an internationally recognised commercial off-the-shelf Lims system".

According to Taizo Watanabe, president of CTCLS, "the Japanese market for commercial off-the-shelf Lims is expected to grow noticeably in the coming years due to changing regulatory environments and ongoing investments towards operational excellence.
"Starlims offers cost effective complete systems that will enable us to capture a healthy share of the market within a very short period".
"We are proud to join CTCLS in delivering Starlims to customers in this strategic Lims market.
"CTCLS brings unequalled experience, capacity and market presence which will now leverage on Starlims proven technological track-record in other parts of the world", stated Isaac Friedman, president and CEO of Starlims.
