The first meeting to be held in the USA for users of Malvern Mastersizer and Spraytec particle size analysers will take place at Somerset, NJ, on 29 September 2005
On the agenda will be method development techniques, software tips and tricks, and data interpretation.
There will be a review of International and American standards, including ISO 13320 and USP 429, and customer presentations will provide an insight into the use of Mastersizer systems in different industries.
The meeting will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn more about Malvern's laser diffraction systems directly from the company's technical experts and from other users.
In September and October 2005, in conjunction with K-Tron, Malvern will also run one-day seminars covering in-line particle size in the pharmaceutical industry (27 September, Rosemont, IL; 14 November, Research Triangle Park, NC).
In addition, Malvern seminars covering particle characterisation and dispersion rheology - theory and applications will take place on 27 September in Philadelphia, PA, and on 12 October in Southborough, MA.
There is no charge for any of these events.
They are part of Malvern's extensive training and education programme, which also includes live web-based seminars, downloadable audio-visual presentations, and a large database of freely accessible articles, application notes, technical briefings and other documents.
