Optical sensing specialist has appointed two new European distributors: Kutay Laboratory Equipment in Turkey, and LAO Industrial Systems in the Czech Republic
Optical sensing specialist Ocean Optics has appointed two new European distributors.
It has appointed Kutay Laboratory Equipment as distributors in Turkey and LAO Industrial Systems in the Czech Republic.
Kutay, established in 1982, has five offices in Turkey.
It is described as the territory's market leader in the supply of laboratory instruments, with over 5000 customers in private and public organisations.
LAO Industrial Systems was established in 1992 and markets laser systems and opto-electronic and measuring equipment for scientific research, educational and commercial applications.
Kees van de Steeg, general manager of Ocean Optics's European Office, said: "We are delighted to have signed up both Kutay and LAO as distributors.
"Both companies have years of invaluable experience of optical technologies and applications, and enhance our portfolio of distributors around the world".
Ocean Optics is a supplier of optical sensing technology including spectrometers, chemical sensors, metrology instrumentation, optical fibres, and thin films and optics.
Recognised as the inventor of miniature fibre optic spectroscopy, the company has sold more than 50,000 spectrometers worldwide since 1989.
