Guava Technologies has announced a new series of free online seminars focusing upon using cell-based microplate assays for research and drug discovery
The latest series of informative seminars, running in August 2005, provide an interactive platform for scientists to learn how researchers are using new cell-based assays for evaluating cellular responses, function or production in high throghput screening, drug discovery, cell biology, cellular therapeutics, bioprocessing and many other life science arenas.
Invited speakers, including John Kenney from Antibody Solutions and Senthamil Selvan from Hoag Hospital, as well as Dianne Fishwild and Amadeo Cappione from Guava Technologies, will present seminars on High-throughput primary screening of monoclonal antibodies to cell-associated antigens, Immune monitoring of patients receiving cancer vaccines through a simple whole blood assay, Living and Dying cells - assessment with mitochondrial membrane potential and Cell proliferation assays, and Rapid microplate screening assays for caspase 3/7 and caspase 8 activity.
The series of presentations will be followed by an interactive question and answer session.
Recordings of each presentation will be also be made available on the Guava website.
The online seminars are open to anyone with internet access and the appropriate client software to see, hear and participate in the event.
