System eliminates the labour intensive, error prone manual sampling processes in all facets of commercial biotechnology
Groton Biosystems offers of a new automated reactor sampling (ARS) system that delivers on-line sampling of bioreactor contents while ensuring complete, sanitary isolation.
This system eliminates the need for human sampling and manual testing - ultimately reducing development and production costs.
The ARS control system provides fully programmable, scheduled sampling of one to four bioreactors - 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The ARS is designed to interface reactors seamlessly fraction collection systems, nutrient monitoring systems, HPLC systems and other analytical instruments.
"This new state-of-the-art automated system solution will dramatically improve efficiency in sample draw and analysis" said Groton Biosystems CEO Bill Dinardo.
"The elimination of human intervention in the sample draw and analysis steps will reduce the risk of contamination and potential for labelling errors".
The ARS is aligned with the FDA's Process Analytical Technologies (Pat) initiative.
Groton Biosystems is a pioneer in providing protein production companies with leading edge on-line and laboratory process monitoring solutions.
