Infection control specialist Tristel has expanded its UK sales team.
The company has appointed sales executive Naomi Smart to be responsible for sales and customer support in the London area.
Smart is an experienced sales professional who has spent a number of years working in the vaccine and pharmaceutical market sectors.
This further expansion of the sales team follows Tristel's successful admission in June 2005 to trading on Aim, and the company's stated intention to increase its investment in sales and marketing for existing and new products.
Paul Swinney, Tristel's CEO, welcomed Smart to the team, saying: "Naomi's appointment will allow us to provide an extended service to customers in the London area.
"More than 60% of hospitals in the UK now use our products and we are continuing to grow.
"Our extensive product range now encompasses sterilising solutions for endoscope decontamination, a range of sporicidal wipes for both instrument and hard surface decontamination, and a chlorine dioxide generator that provides a continuous stream of solution for on-line applications - and we have more products in development."
