Mini-instruments for the USB bus offer low price with high signal accuracy, with oscilloscope, chart recorder, voltmeter, waveform, file viewer, digital input/output, counter/timer, and rate generator
Data Translation is now shipping the Econseries, the latest addition to its wide range of USB data acquisition solutions, to UK customers.
The Econseries is a family of economical mini-instruments for the USB bus that offer low price with high signal accuracy.
This series is supported by a new application software package that ships with the boards, called Go.
The Go software is a ready-to-measure application that provides an instrument panel interface requiring no programming.
Signal connections are made directly to the modules built-in screw terminals and plug into any PC's USB port without the need of an external power supply.
"These compact low cost modules allow accurate measurements anywhere at any time" states Fred Molinari, president and CEO.
"The ability to plug into any PC via USB has been enhanced with instrument like software.
"The promise of serious portable measurements on-the-go is now real".
With the GO application, the Econseries becomes eight mini-instruments in one easy-to-navigate application.
The package includes oscilloscope, chart recorder, voltmeter, waveform generator, file viewer, digital input/output, counter/timer, and rate generator functions designed to be intuitive to operate.
The Econseries modules are available in a number of configurations, offering maximum flexibility to the user.
Selections include the number of analogue and digital I/O channels, the resolution, and the signal range required by the application.
