Operational automated compound storage system installed and working within 24 hours at SBS Geneva, proving a major draw to visitors
RTS Life Science says its stand SBS 2005 in Geneva last month (August 2005) proved to be a big draw at the show.
This was because it featured an operational Smartstore - one of the biggest innovations in compound storage for several years.
Mike Pollard, Smartstore product manager, commented: "We had crowds around our Smartstore and a steady stream of serious enquiries throughout the week.
"Smartstore is set to revolutionise sample storage and retrieval for collections that, until now, have been considered too small to justify the deployment of an automated storage system.
"Some visitors to the stand were able to gain first hand experience of it and we were proud that we were able to have it fully installed in under 24 hours".
