Law Laboratories (LawLabs), an independent consultancy and laboratory service provider to the food, retail and consumer goods industries, has been acquired by Bodycote Materials Testing
Bodycote describes itself as a world leading provider of materials testing services currently operating throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and North America.
It is a major sub-contract service organisation, with over 53 facilities in ten countries providing testing services to a wide range of industries, including the food, aerospace, manufacturing, rail and utilities among many others.
Bodycote already operates successful food testing laboratories in Canada and the Middle East, and acquisition of LawLabs will enable the company to strengthen its expertise in this field.
Law Laboratories will continue to operate as normal from its current locations and with its existing management team, within the health sciences division of Bodycote.
LawLabs's managing director James Williams said: "LawLabs's incorporation within Bodycote will enable us to draw upon a much larger resource of services, skills and knowledge that can enhance the quality service our customers have come to expect.
