Anachem's environmental division re-launched its business with a new identity from 1 October 2005.
The division has united its 'A1' pan-European group of businesses and re-branded to the A1-envirosciences group.
The A1-envirosciences group will maintain its head office operations in Luton, UK, with wholly-owned subsidiaries in Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, France, and Austria.
Beneath the corporate brand of the A1-envirosciences group will sit two distinct business groups; A1-envirotech and A1-safetech, fully supported by a dedicated service and support group.

A1-safetech will maintain its unique portfolio of air monitoring and containment technologies supplying high-quality environmental monitoring and containment equipment from world-leading manufacturers.
A1-service and support's dedicated team of technical experts will be on-hand to offer an exceptional blend of after-sales service to maximise equipment uptime, ensure rapid delivery and provide customer care maintenance schemes tailored for individual requirements, says the company.

Formerly known as Anachem's chemical analysis group, the original environmental team formed over ten years ago to promote the Mitsubishi product portfolio of Karl Fischer titration systems for the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, electricity and environmental markets, now under the name of A1-envirotech, will continue to supply a premium range of analytical instrumentation for chemical analysis from world-leading brands such as Mitsubishi titration and elemental analysers, and OI Analytical's ground breaking new range of TOC analysers.
