Chiltern International reports that Tanya Baker has joined its training department as a training officer
Initially, Tanya Baker's work will focus on specific research and training and development projects before then delivering a range of training courses.
After originally graduating in journalism, film and broadcasting from Cardiff University, followed by a stint in the media industry, Baker became interested in a career in human resources.
This led her towards the pharmaceutical sector, which included positions at Glaxo and Parexel.
"I have lots of experience of dealing with people due to working in HR and am a confident communicator having delivered some training plus done lots of acting in my spare time," she explained.
"My six years experience in HR will be useful in the research and delivery of HR related training.
"I was attracted by Chiltern's culture and I also had a general interest in the industry, having worked for both a CRO and a pharma company previously," she added.
"I was excited about the career opportunities and developmental prospects that Chiltern would give me".
