ClinPhone has appointed Paul Harrop to its recently restructured senior management team
Paul Harrop, who joins the company in the role of global director of human resources, will work with the established team members to continue ClinPhone's growth within the clinical trials industry.
Based at the company's corporate head office in Nottingham, UK, Harrop will be responsible for managing all the components of an international strategic human resources function, working with over 500 staff worldwide.
He brings with him extensive international HR experience, covering western Europe and the Asia Pacific regions.
Latterly, a member of the European management team for AEP Energy Services, Harrop spent three years as European director of human resources for clinical research organisation Kendle International.
During a career spanning 25 years, Harrop has established a record of developing and successfully conducting global HR strategies within ten European countries and in Asia Pacific, says Clinphone.
He holds an MA in social policy and administration and is a chartered fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development; he has also taken an advanced management programme at Insead, France.
Harrop will be charged with establishing a strong relationship with all of ClinPhone's international offices in a bid to maintain the excellent communications within the company.
Specific areas that Harrop will be focussing on within his new role include all the strategic human resource activities that will be essential for the successful growth of the company.
ClinPhone works with many of the worlds leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to provide a wide range of e-clinical services.
The company claims to be the largest and most accomplished clinical technology organisation (CTO) in the industry, with experience in over 1400 trials.
