Like its bespoke counterpart, the Assay Platform 10 will feature three distinct functions: storage and incubation, liquid handling and plate reading
RTS Life Science's booth at Lab Automation 2006 taking place from 21-25 January in Palm Springs, CA, will highlight an operational Smartstore and introduce its new Assay Platform 10 system.
Visitors will be able to gain first hand experience of the Smartstore as it handles multiple labware formats.
Mike Pollard, Smartstore product manager, commented: "Smartstore utilises industrially proven robotic systems to deliver reliable performance 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"Not only does the unique multi format feature give flexibility for the storage of diverse collections, it reassures customers that their system can be reconfigured in the future, should business needs change".
Assay Platform 10 is a standardised, lower cost version of RTS's automated HTS system.
Like its bespoke counterpart, the Assay Platform 10 will feature three distinct functions: storage and incubation, liquid handling and plate reading.
Karen Allison, product manager for the Assay Platform family of products, explained: "Our customer feedback has shown that many pharma departments, particularly early Adme/tox, assay development and lead optimisation, need a simple, standard automated alternative to manual assaying.
"Assay Platform 10 delivers this and also boasts all the advantages of our highly respected Sprint scheduling software."
