MediSpecs combine safety glasses with bifocal readers so medical and emergency personnel find it much more convenient and comfortable to have eye protection
MediSpecs are the answer to an often requested, but never before available item.
They are safety glasses with integrated side shields and built-in bifocal reading segments.
Now doctors, nurses, dentists, lab technicians and emergency personnel can read medical charts and reports with ease, while enjoying much greater eye protection than normal reading glasses provide.

The CDC recommends medical, dental, and laboratory staff use eye protection as a standard part of their universal precautions, a guideline for minimising exposure to potentially transmissible disease agents.
OHSA also requires eye protection in many settings.
The integrated side shields provide excellent protection from the side, while the stylish, contoured frame provides coverage from above.
Coverage is therefore much more complete than standard reading glasses can provide.
The lenses are impact resistant and ANSI Z87.1 compliant, making them great for use by first responders and emergency personnel.
The dilemma for those who wear reading glasses has been choosing between true safety, and reading ability, or the inconvenience of switching back and forth between the two.
