Analytical Sensors and Instruments (ASI) has announced the availability of its new free-chlorine sensor for use end-users and OEMs in a multitude of industries
Applications of the chlorine sensor include the monitoring of chlorine in swimming pool water where the use of oxidation-reduction potential sensors are currently used to monitor the chlorine levels.
In addition, this electrode is popular in water and wastewater applications.
Designed with a removable and replaceable membrane cap to extend the life of the sensor and allow easy maintenance, the free chlorine sensor is capable of measuring free chlorine down to 0.1 and up to ten parts per million.
With an on-board circuit, this sensor can be connected to any analytical mV meter, removing the need to buy new specialty equipment designed to only work with free-chlorine sensors.
In addition, this sensor can be converted to measure total-chlorine with a simple switch of the membrane and electrolyte and comes standard with a temperature sensor to allow auto-temperature correction.
Also announced today is a new aluminum electrode arm for use in laboratory measurements, titrations and hands free operation.
The five-position holder can accommodate electrodes from all electrode vendors and was developed by ASI engineers to meet the needs of a growing analytical industry for hands-free sensor or electrode operation.
ASI can customise the electrode arm for other uses on an OEM basis, such as a camera mounting stand.
Product Availability The chlorine sensor is available now and delivery is one to two weeks upon receipt of an order.
The electrode arm is available in bulk or individual orders with tiered discounting.
Delivery is five to seven working days within the USA upon receipt of an order.
