Providing a maximum liquid capacity of just 30ul per well, the low volume plates are designed to conserve valuable samples and reagents
Porvair Sciences has announced further additions to its range of low volume 384-well microplates.
With pharmaceutical and biotech companies looking to find ways of screening more compounds against an ever-increasing number of targets in shorter periods of time, Porvair Sciences's low-volume 384-well microplates provide the perfect answer, it says.
Now available in a choice of black, white or clear polystyrene, the low volume 384-well assay plates have been optimised for fluorescence, luminescence/scintillation and Elisa/turbidity measurements respectively.
The novel cone shaped well design considerably reduces liquid loss on well walls and provides for better liquid recovery by automated liquid handling systems.
Precision manufactured - Porvair's low volume 384-well plates offer market leading plate flatness of +/-0.20mm resulting in a significant increase in plate tolerance that helps to eliminate mis-handling problems when used with in automated environments.
Supplied individually wrapped or in economical bulk packs, each type of low volume 384-well assay plate is available in standard, high bind or tissue culture treated formats.
