Enables chemists to quickly discover the optimal conditions for their chemical reactions by simultaneously running up to ten reactions, each with a different temperature and stirring speed
Radleys Discovery Technologies has introduced new and enhanced software for its Metz Syn10 controlled personal synthesiser.
Said to be ideal for chemists involved in all aspects of reaction optimisation and process development, the Metz Syn10 enables chemists to quickly discover the optimal conditions for their chemical reactions by simultaneously running up to ten reactions, each with a different temperature, from -30C to +150C and stirring control from 250rpm to 1200rpm.
Other features include an inert gas control and optional removable water-cooled refluxing.
The new intuitive Metz Syn10 software is available in standard or advanced formats.
The standard software provides a powerful suite of control options including individual well programming and profiling, controlled heating/cooling ramps, crash cooling for rapid temperature changes, plus new on-the-fly profile modification and variable data sampling rate functions. The advanced software offers all the fetures of the standard software plus 'multi-user' and 'control by solution temperature' functions providing chemists with maximum flexibility.
The Metz Syn10 is suitable for a wide range of applications including reaction and process optimisation, parallel synthesis, combinatorial chemistry, chemical and catalyst development, says RDT.
