Brightwell Technologies has appointed Wisbiomed as the exclusive representative in Oregon and Washington states, as well as California, Arizona, and Nevada
Wisbiomed will market and sell the DPA 4100 micro-flow imaging (MFI) system for the analysis of particle and cell populations.
The MFI system is used in a wide range of laboratories, such as water/environmental research laboratories for studying the effects of particles and micro-organsisms upon drinking water and waste water treatment processes.
The DPA 4100 MFI is also used by biopharmaceutical and industrial process laboratories that have applications for studying and controlling the size and shape of particles.
These applications include reaction monitoring, agglomeration, crystallization, and contamination and cleanliness control.
MFI is also used by cytology laboratories for studying cellular contamination, morphology and viability of a wide range of cells and cell cultures.
The DPA 4100 MFI enables to view the cells or particles in the samples.
It complements other flow based technologies to generate more morphological information.
MFI technology directly images particles, cells passing through the viewing zone.
It may offer the affordable instrument for monitoring cell size and shape changes in respond to a chemical or biological process.
Currently the wide accepted device is microcope which is a labor intensive, slow through put process.
DPA4100 can significantly improve the through put and amendable for semi-automation process.
