The new Infinite iLog GSM stand-alone data acquisition system is now available from Jekyll Electronic Technology
This latest product enables users to collect and transmit data and alarms via email or ftp thanks to the unit's built-in GSM/GPRS modem.
The units have been designed for companies wanting a simple and cost-effective solution for real-time measurement monitoring.
The iLog is an 'active' telemetry device.
This means a schedule can be set to send and receive data using internet capabilities such as FTP and email.
The iLog GSM can, therefore, be situated in any remote location.
All units carry a built-in TCP/IP webserver with live webpages that can be accessed by any internet browser application.
Users throughout the world can access, monitor and control the system via their internet browser.
The iLog GSM has four high-resolution analogue inputs that allow independent or simultaneous measurements to be recorded.
All four inputs have scale adjustment capability and alarm limits that can be preset.
Two of the analogue inputs can be configured as counter inputs and can support pulse output sensors.
The unit also features four digital inputs and two digital outputs that can be used either for monitoring alarm states or as independent, remote controlled outputs.
Up to 40,000 measurements can be recorded in the internal power failsafe memory.
This means that there is enough memory for companies to be able to keep readings recorded every 15 minutes for one year in accordance with HACCP compliance regulations.
