MVA Scientific Consultants and testing laboratory group Microbac Laboratories have joined forces in a strategic alliance to offer their clients additional analytical choices
The announcement was officially made in Orlando, Florida during a press conference at the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) 2006 Conference and Food Expo - the premiere international forum for food industry professionals to share, explore, and connect.
As part of the alliance, MVA Scientific Consultants will serve as Microbac's preferred provider of forensic food microscopy and other microanalytical services.
Microbac, in turn, will serve as MVA Scientific Consultants's preferred provider of microbiological and chemical analysis for food, environmental and other samples.
"Our alliance with Microbac creates a unique convergence of expertise, capabilities and convenience," states Rich Brown, executive director and project leader for forensic food microscopy services at MVA Scientific Consultants.
"Together we offer a diverse and compelling menu of services to the food and beverage industry," says Brown.
"This strategic alliance represents a significant upgrade in our offerings in the area of electron and light microscopy to our current and prospective clients in the wide range of industries in which we serve" says Tom Zierenberg, corporate marketing and business development, Microbac Laboratories.
"MVA Scientific Consultants and Microbac recognize that scientific leadership is about vision, innovation, and a commitment to excellence", says Marketer Anthony Cooper, who helped to broker the alliance.
"This alliance will offer greater opportunities and solutions that will not only benefit food and beverage clients, but a wide range of interests that seek greater scientific resources," Cooper concluded.
