Temperature Electronics Ltd (TEL) has expanded its range to include a range of sustainable digital laboratory ovens.
Introduced in response to customer feedback, the ovens are suitable for most drying, warming and general laboratory applications. Featuring 65mm insulation, they ensure that heat is effectively retained within the unit and does not transfer to the outside of the oven, making them more energy efficient.
The units are fitted with a microprocessor control system with dual display of set point and actual temperature, facilitating precise temperature control. Available in eight standard sizes, ranging from 30 to 200 litres, the ovens can be customised to meet a laboratory’s specific requirements. They are designed to be easy to clean, featuring an exterior finished in a powder-coated paint and an interior made from either aluminium or stainless steel. The Incoloy-sheathed elements that heat the oven are corrosion-resistant.
TEL director, Richard Eady, said: “Many of our customers buying energy-efficient airflow controls and monitors require laboratory ovens too, so it simply made sense for us to diversify our offer to include a range of sustainable units.”
