SealPlate RollMate and FoilSeal RollMate sealing films are now available from Alpha Laboratories in convenient roll format on a dispenser.
Faster than applying single sheeted film the films are designed to provide an economical and efficient way to rapidly seal microplates, minimising evaporation, reducing cross contamination and preventing spillage.
Non-slip supports on the dispenser hold the pre-scored film in place whilst in use. The roll tension can even be adjusted according to user preference. After the pre-scored films are used, the continuous backing liner can be torn off or fed directly into a waste basket for disposal.
SealPlate RollMate is a 2mil rigid polyester film with good clarity, suited to ELISA, incubation and storage. Single, writeable end tabs enable easy application and plate identification for the film, which can be used in the temperature range from -40C to +120C.
FoilSeal RollMate is a 2mil aluminium foil with excellent chemical resistance, suitable for standard PCR, long-term storage, light sensitive assays and robotics. The seals are certified DNase- & RNase- free, and the conformable foils allows visual verification of seal security. FoilSeal RollMate is suitable for use in the temperature range from -80C to +120C.
