SLAS 2019 was the launchpad for BMG Labtech’s CLARIOstar Plus microplate Reader, utilising the latest in Enhanced Dynamic Range (EDR) technology, to achieve highly linear assay data over the largest possible detection range (eight decades) in a single read.
The instrument features dedicated detectors for luminescence and fluorescence – including red-shifted dyes – as well as housing an ultrafast spectrometer for absorbance.
EDR enables highly reliable results to be measured over a large dynamic range with no manual intervention. Additionally, thanks to a rapid, full-plate autofocus every sample on the plate is automatically detected with the ideal settings, without any action prior to the start of measurement.
