Irish Life Sciences will be showcasing its range of storage/collection plates along with reagent reservoirs, HDPE reagent bottles, plate sealing materials and the Agilent range of filtration and associated plates when it attends Lab Innovations at the NEC, Birmingham, for the first time in October.
Two of the company’s most widely used storage plate formats are the 2.0mL square well with a ‘V’ bottom for maximum liquid extraction and the 1.0mL round well plate with ‘U’ bottom for improved mixing. Both are moulded in a medical-grade polymer to produce a higher purity storage or collection plate, providing the right environment for researcher’s valuable samples.
The complete range of plates – ranging from 0.36mL to 10mL in 24 well format – including the high throughput 384 well plate will be on display. These are complemented by Irish Life Sciences’ reagent reservoirs – which come in open and partitioned format – and reagent bottles in clear and brown HDPE. Bottle volumes range from 8mL through to 1.0 litre.
Sealing materials at the show will include chemically resistant silicone cap mats, heat seals, adhesive seals, and pierce-able clear films with self-sealing properties to prevent evaporation.
In addition its own range, the company is a distributor of Agilent plates including Filtration plates with a broad range of media spanning a pore size from 0.2mm to 25mm
Irish Life Sciences can advise on the development of a bespoke assay plate or collection plate as either a new mould tool or, where appropriate, inserting components to work with our its existing range of mould tools.
The highly experienced technical team is familiar with most polymers including Polypropylene, Polystyrene, COP and conductive materials. High volume is not required, and the medical device-certified cleanrooms house the latest moulding and assembly equipment to ensure products are DNase/RNase free and competitive.
