The SD-8 Mini Spray Dryer from Munro Instruments is a self-contained unit with microprocessor control.
Temperature, flow rate and pump speed can all be controlled using the touch-screen display. The controller features an RS232 output for connection to a PC or data logger, and software enables monitoring of functions and printing of results.
The spray chamber, cyclone separator and receiving tank of the SD-8 are made of borosilicate glass, which is resistant to acid, alkali and high temperatures. The inlet is equipped with a filter to prevent sample contamination, and an automatic de-blocking device prevents the nozzle from seizing.
