STARLAB’s GuardOne Workstation has been designed to provide a suitable workspace for sensitive and critical applications requiring a clean environment, whilst having a minimal impact on the planet.
Capable of providing protection from potential contaminations by bacteria, DNA or RNA, the workstation minimises cross-contamination risk, protects valuable samples and reagents and avoids work duplication.
Supplied in six pieces, it can be easily assembled without the need for tools (patent pending). This design reduces package volume and saves up to 50% on both space and shipping resources. The Station also features energy-saving LED lighting and silent fan with a consumption rate of just 38 W for Dead Air models and 90 W (32”) or 160 W (48”) for Laminar flow models.
Real-time airflow measurement and two-stage filter system create a cleanroom environment which complies with ISO 5. The UV lamps have a timer feature and lifespan of up to 9000 hours. GuardOne is made from optically-clear, UV-impermeable polycarbonate to provide an optimal view while working and full protection from harmful UV when decontaminating. A safety-switch on the sash door prevents any UV use while working.
All functions, including monitoring of the UV lamp and the HEPA filters lifespan can be controlled via the intuitive touchscreen that is compatible with laboratory gloves.
