A new company formed by Validair has been appointed as a channel partner for world-leading particle counter manufacturer and contamination control expert TSI Inc.
From this month Validair Monitoring Ireland Limited will offer the entire TSI range of products from its new HQ in Dublin, managed by lead systems engineer John Whaler, a senior contamination control technical specialist and systems integration expert with more than 15 years’ experience at Validair across the UK. A key member of the core Validair team, Whaler will assume responsibility for support services for the acclaimed range of TSI Aerotrak airborne particle counter products and the FMS 5 Facility Monitoring System software.
Validair has also enlisted the specialist technical support of Conor Murray, who has exclusive responsibility for the TSI BioTrak Real-Time Visible particle counter. Murray is Convenor of ISO/TC209 WG2 on Microbiological Contamination Control and Chair of the Irish Cleanroom Society. He believes the BioTrak to be a game-changer in pharmaceutical aseptic manufacture, especially in the context of Pharma 4.0 PAT and real-time release testing, where the BioTrak’s capabilities align with the forthcoming update to EU GMP Annex 1 and the mandate for continuous monitoring in during grade A manufacturing.
Simon Tebb, sales manager EMEA Controlled Environments at TSI Inc. said: “TSI is delighted to have Validair Monitoring Ireland Ltd as a channel partner. Validair companies have demonstrated impressive capabilities with more than 120 TSI systems installed in the UK over the past 20 years – including the largest-ever global installation at Oxford Biomedica. We are very confident that the new venture will deliver the same excellent level of results that Validair customers in other territories have come to expect.”
As part of the group of Validair companies that include Validair Monitoring Systems Ltd and Validair Diamond Scientific, customers of the Ireland enterprise will benefit from access to more than 20 field service and specialist technical engineers as well as a vast pool of industry knowledge.
