The latest generation of IKA’s RCT basic comes the reliability which has made it so popular but with added new features.
The magnetic stirrer has been the company’s bestseller for almost half a century. It is suitable for stirring tasks up to 20 l (H2O) and reaches a hotplate temperature of up to 310°C. With the connection option for an external temperature sensor (PT 1000.60 included in delivery), the temperature can be measured and controlled directly in the reaction medium.
Insulation of the aluminium heating plate, maintenance-free EC motor and electronic switching power supply make the instrument energy efficient reduce self-heating of the heating plate during stirring operation.
New features for the latest generation RCT basic include tempered shatterproof glass surface for optimal chemical resistance and easy cleaning, large LED display, illuminated symbols for displaying important status information, and USB and RS232 interface for control or documentation of the test parameters via a PC.
Additionally, it is compatible with labworldsoft laboratory software, has an easily accessible main switch on the front of the device and features a QR code for quick access to device information, accessories, downloads and extended warranty.
