The latest generation of IKA’s RCT basic takes its almost 50-year legacy to the next level with additional features including tempered shatterproof glass surface and illuminated symbols for clear status information.
The instrument is suitable for stirring tasks up to 20 l (H2O) and reaches a hotplate temperature of up to 310°C. With the connection option for an external temperature sensor (PT 1000.60 included in delivery), the temperature can be measured and controlled directly in the reaction medium.
Insulated aluminium heating plate, maintenance-free EC motor and electronic switching power supply contribute to RCT basic’s excellent energy efficiency as well as reduced self-heating of the heating plate during stirring operation, for a more sustainable laboratory.
Additional features on the latest iteration also include large LED display, USB and RS232 interface, QR code for quick access to device information, accessories, downloads, and extended warranty, compatible with labworldsoft laboratory software, easily accessible front main switch.
