Astell Scientific provides a range of autoclaves designed to meet laboratory needs in an era of economic fluctuations, soaring utility costs, and increasing environmental concerns.
The company’s Benchtop range is available in 33, 43, and 63-litre chamber capacities and featuring Classic and 'Ecofill' versions. Introduced in the early 2000s, the 'Ecofill' units require only a single-phase power supply and an integral water reservoir fill, enabling up to 15 filling-free cycles. Acting as a reservoir and collector for condensate and residual water, the instruments boast minimal water usage, making them among the most eco-friendly options available.
Angled pressure vessel design, coupled with the Autofill water recirculation system, ensures optimal water utilisation, resulting in reduced power consumption and quicker heating and cooling times.
Astell is also committed to innovation, as evidenced by the incorporation of a 5.7-inch colour touchscreen across its entire range. This enhances safety during sterilisation cycles, whilst enabling users to monitor, modify, and store cycle parameters for up to 5,000 cycles.
