Sartorius has launched Cubis® III, the latest generation of its premium laboratory balance platform, designed to help regulated laboratories streamline weighing processes, improve data integrity, and simplify system integration.
The new platform enables weighing data to be transferred directly into laboratory information systems such as LIMS, ELN, and CDS environments without the need for additional middleware software. Built-in connectivity supports industry-standard protocols, allowing laboratories to integrate balances more easily into existing digital infrastructures while reducing validation and maintenance requirements.
Cubis® III also incorporates a range of compliance-focused features directly within the instrument. These include audit trails, electronic signatures, role-based user access controls, and guided weighing workflows that support consistent and traceable laboratory operations. The system is designed to help organisations meet regulatory requirements while improving operational efficiency and data governance.
In addition, the platform includes digital cleaning documentation and authenticated sign-off capabilities, helping laboratories strengthen traceability and reduce reliance on paper-based records.
Available in both Cubis® III and Cubis® III Max configurations, the system offers scalable functionality to suit a range of laboratory environments. By combining high-precision weighing with advanced connectivity and compliance tools, Sartorius aims to provide laboratories with a future-ready solution that supports digital transformation, operational efficiency, and long-term cost control.
