The UK's leading laboratory exhibition returns to the NEC Birmingham on 4–5 November 2026, bringing together scientists, laboratory professionals and technology suppliers for two days of innovation, knowledge sharing and networking.
Lab Innovations 2026 will open its doors at the NEC Birmingham this November, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the latest developments in laboratory equipment, analytical technologies, automation and scientific research.
Taking place in Hall 2 on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 November, the annual exhibition brings together more than 200 suppliers alongside researchers, laboratory managers, technicians and industry specialists from across the UK and beyond.
This year's event will focus on the theme of collaboration, encouraging the laboratory community to share knowledge, address common challenges and explore technologies that can improve efficiency, productivity and sustainability.
Visitors can expect a wide range of equipment demonstrations, product launches and opportunities to discuss practical laboratory challenges directly with manufacturers and technical experts.
A comprehensive conference programme will run alongside the exhibition, featuring presentations and discussions across five dedicated stages. Key topics include artificial intelligence and automation, sustainability, quality and compliance, applied innovation, and skills development.
The event will also provide opportunities to explore emerging laboratory technologies, discover new suppliers and gain insights into changing industry requirements.
Lab Innovations is once again co-located with Advanced Engineering and UK Metals Expo, giving visitors access to a wider range of manufacturing, engineering and materials technologies taking place at the NEC.
Attendance is free, although advance registration is required. The exhibition opens from 9am to 5pm on Wednesday 4 November and 9am to 4pm on Thursday 5 November.
