Organisers of the Smart Lab Exchange say there will be a limited number of supplementary invitations issued to the 'elite' top ranking water, health and environmental scientists for the 2007 event
The announcement follows markedly positive feedback from other delegates on the contributions of last year's public sector contingent.
Jonathan Green of the Public Health Laboratory Service was among the session leaders on last year's programme and received high overall ratings and a variety of great comments on his presentation.
The meeting, which will take place on 27-28 February in London, gathers the most senior global leaders in laboratory informatics together for an invitation-only networking and benchmarking forum.
Last year executives from the Scottish and Irish water authorities, Forensic Science Service and PHLS were among those in attendance; the organisers are hoping that other leading lights from this sector will follow their example this year.
Smart Lab is attended by representatives from across the biopharmaceutical, chemical, petrochemical and FMCG industries, as well as government departments, water authorities and leading solution providers.
