Recently, BioTek Instruments celebrated another accomplishment in its continued success by honouring a group of employees that have achieved more than two decades of service with the organisation
This brings the percentage of current BioTek employees to reach the 20-year mark to 20%.
At a company-wide ceremony marking the occasion, Briar Alpert, president of BioTek Instruments, commented on the outstanding longevity within the company: "This duration of service is very uncommon in the world we live in today.
"The wealth of experience and loyalty of the BioTek workforce sets us apart from our competition; it's a key cornerstone to our culture and our company's success".
"Our employees embrace focus, integrity and teamwork, and make those qualities part of our everyday culture.
"We are truly specialists in microplate technology; customers recognise that they get a better reaction from our employee empowerment combined with our experience and focus," added Gary Barush, director of marketing and sales and a 16-year veteran of the company.
As a testament to the commitment of its employees, the company expects to grow 15-20% in the coming year, greatly surpassing the growth rate of 6-7% within the market.
Several new products are expected to contribute to this growth including the NanoQuot microplate dispenser for low volume liquid dispensing, the Synergy 2 multi-detection microplate reader, and new Gen5 Microplate data collection and analysis software.
The company also expects to expand in key departments within its headquarters and global locations.
Personnel development, new hires and additional technologies are named as major investments within these areas.
