Lafferty has more than 14 years experience in corporate and public accounting, covering both pre-IPO and public companies
Erin Lafferty has served GenVault as its vice president of finance and HR since December 2004 and as its controller since January 2002.

Prior to GenVault, Lafferty held the position of corporate controller at Medibuy, an internet-based medical supply chain management company, and assumed full responsibility for the finance department, including work on SEC registration statements, corporate valuations, and merger and acquisition activity.
Before Medibuy, she was director of finance at SilkRoad and has held various positions of increasing responsibility at Ernst and Young.
Lafferty obtained a BS from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley and an executive MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management.
