Utilising glucose cuvettes that are stored at room temperature and featuring an extended measuring range, the HemoCue Glucose 201 RT provides the results you can depend on for patient care and safety
HemoCue has launched the Glucose 201 RT, the first in its new generation of point-of-care analysers.
Fast, portable and easy to use, HemoCue 201 analysers are the only point of care glucose analysers to guarantee laboratory quality results where and when you need them, says Hemocue.
The small hand-held systems provide precise, accurate results in just 60 seconds allowing clinicians to confidently and quickly make the correct diagnosis and initiate or modify treatment.
In keeping with other HemoCue devices, this new Glucose 201 RT consists of a portable analyser together with disposable microcuvettes.
However, it is the first glucose system to utilise cuvettes that are stable at room temperature.
With no need for refrigeration and a shelf life of 12 months, the Glucose 201 RT offers increased flexibility and can be used in all OEout of laboratory' situations where immediate results are required.
Only 4ul of blood is used and an extended measuring range of 0-27.8mmol/L ensures the RT's suitability for any clinical application, from routine screening to the ITU/SCBU where potentially life-critical glycaemic events can be closely monitored in real time.
Factory calibrated and with sophisticated QC, data management and communication options, results can be immediately relayed to information management systems.
