Single use insulated shipping pouches provide a cost effective solution for shipping small quantities of temperature-sensitive products over short distances and durations of up to 12 hours
The new ChillPouch system makes it quick and simple to dispatch items such as small vials or syringe packs, safely and securely, minimising the time, resource and cost associated with damaged or contaminated shipments.
The ChillPouch solution consists of a padded pouch, ice mat, divider and absorbent material, capable of maintaining a consistent environment of between 0 and 15C for any low volume, short duration application.
The ice mat enables the product being shipped to be kept cool, while the divider ensures that the item does not come into contact with the ice mat causing it to freeze.
The specially designed absorbent material is designed to reduce the risk of condensate build-up within the pouch.
In addition to offering considerably more control over the temperature of a shipment than is possible using conventional packaging, the padded ChillPouch system also protects its contents from damage in transit.
Due to the compact design of the system in relation to alternative solutions, volumetric weight charges can also be reduced significantly in many cases.
Furthermore, the security of a shipment is increased through the use of the ultra high adhesion tamper-proof tape that is used to seal the pouch.
For critical applications, PCMs (phase change materials) can be supplied in place of ice mats, to offer increased control over the temperature within a package.
The ChillPouch is available in two standard sizes, A4 and A3 (internal dimensions), however, bespoke sizes can be supplied for high quantity orders.
