John Thoma named director of business development and Anthony Mongelli named corporate controller at DSPCon
DSPCon, a supplier of high-performance, dynamic data acquisition, analysis and archiving systems and services for high-value military, aerospace and rotating machinery applications, has appointed two new senior executives to its corporate management team, led by president and chief executive officer Alfred Brower.
John Thoma has been appointed director of business development and Anthony Mongelli has been named corporate controller.
Thoma and Mongelli will report directly to Brower.
The appointments are effective immediately.

In the newly-created role of director of business development, Thoma will assume responsibility for DSPCon's sales and marketing organisations, including direct and indirect channels, product support and marketing.
Thoma comes to DSPCon from Electro-Radiation, a Honeywell International company, where he most recently served as director of business development.
In this role, he was responsible for sales and marketing activities, including driving the profitable growth of the counter-IED technology business within the United States and key international markets.
Prior to joining Electro-Radiation, Thoma held a number of key product, programme and business development management positions with leading defense and broadband equipment companies such as OnePath Networks, Axonlink and ADC Broadband Communications.
At ADC, his product additions directly resulted in more than $20 million in revenue.
Previously, Thoma had served in several, senior-level product management and business development positions with Nynex, Westinghouse Norden Systems and Hughes Aircraft.
He began his career at Bell Laboratories.
Thoma holds a bachelor's degree and master's degree in electrical engineering from Manhattan College as well as an MBA degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
As DSPCon's corporate controller, Mongelli will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including policies and procedures, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and purchasing.
A seasoned financial professional with over 25 years of experience, Mongelli comes to DSPCon from 3CM Packaging Systems, where he spent 16 years in a number of financial capacities including serving as the firm's chief financial officer for over 12 years.
Prior to that, he served in a number of senior-level financial capacities with several leading firms in the greater New York, New Jersey area.
Mongelli holds a bachelor' s degree in accounting from Brooklyn College.
