MicroPoration is a non viral method that uses a unique electroporation technology for transfecting a wide range of hard-to-transfect cells such as primary cells, stem cells and neurons
BTX has introduced MicroPoration, a new method for non viral transfections.
With this new method, transfection takes place in the actual pipette tip.
This simple technique provides efficient electroporation of primary cells and stem cells.
The system consists of a high performance pulse generator, safety chamber and MicroPorator pipette.
Pre-sterilised MicroPoration disposable tips are manufactured using state of the art micromachining technology.
The high performance pulse generator has a graphical user interface for easy setting and operation.
All electrical parameters are controlled by the user including voltage, number of pulses and pulse duration.
Pre-optimised electrical parameters are provided and updated through the BTX technical support group.
The BTX global technical support team will assist scientists to optimise their applications to achieve the highest transfection efficiencies and cell survival rates.
